In 2012 the Mill Creek Fire Company, was operating out of a 2 bay facility that was constructed in 1956. This one story Commonwealth Construction Company Project was completed on a nearby site to allow for the operations to be unaffected. The construction of the new facility includes 5 bays (3 Drive–Thru), state of the art Communications Center, storage rooms, kitchen, training rooms, recreation rooms, sleeping/housing facilities and administrative offices.
Serves as the primary main hub and headquarters for the department, providing fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. Major historical building expansions on the Kirkwood Highway property date back significantly, with ongoing facility and operational updates managed via the Mill Creek Fire Company.
