Delaware State Police Troop 6
The Delaware State Police Troop 6 project in Wilmington, Delaware includes a new 41,432-square-foot State Police Barracks and a 15,400-square-foot Vehicle Maintenance and Storage Facility, with a project cost of $25.6 million.
The state-of-the-art complex replaces the existing, undersized Troop 6 Barracks and provides enhanced security while maintaining a welcoming public entrance. The main building includes evidence processing and storage, arrest processing and holding, secure interview rooms, administrative offices, troop support areas, and a community room for up to 100 participants. The vehicle facility features drive-through bays for vehicles, boats, and trailers supporting the EOD and SCUBA units, with completion scheduled for 2025.
